Common forms of “society doesn’t understand or value the people who actually get shit done”.

It would be cool if I could have a construct of my dead relatives consciousness in my personal computer.
The problem is psychopaths are driven to leadership and they’re not actually good at anything.
Basically their ego tells them that they’re pareto people when they’re really not and society can’t tell the difference. Mostly they just steal labor. And they’re too stupid and insecure to identify and empower the most efficient people.

2·4 days agoIf your material conditions were your primary concern the president passing an illegal regressive tax should’ve been a red flag. In my life Bush and Trump started wars while cutting taxes.
To me the dead giveaway is the new deal era coalition. The economy failed so it created an ideology antithetical to conservatism and the results speak for themselves.
2026 is all about cat grooming videos.
Homeless people cost tax payers between 30-50 thousand dollars a year. Housing the homeless is likely fiscally conservative.
This means the incentive structure in our society is wrong. People who lack the creativity to solve novel problems resort to psychopathy to to be productive in the economy. Military industrial complex, private prisons, judge judy.

2·5 days agoI look at the problem first and then the second order effects. Otherwise you end up constrained by what other people think. People are irrational and the question is.
As a citizen what do I think property ownership in america should look like and where should the incentives be.
If you can get people to engage with that idea. Then they can think for themselves and there’s less room for people to put ideas in their head.

10·5 days agoPeople get too deep into conspiracy theories. Establishment politics is problematic but I think people need to engage with how things actually work.
The rich and powerful are going to petition the government and the government will have some corruption. So the how is important because it informs how we put them back in their box.

4·5 days agoI think we need to look at housing as a technology to spread as opposed to an investment to horde. Then do the same thing with utilities.
Tons of reasons not to do it but it makes society less dependent on employment.

46·6 days agoI don’t see the value of the “both sides” argument. I think vote blue no matter who may have the value of shifting the overton window. But the reality is many of the people on the far left are just non voters making post hoc rationalizations. So I don’t really care about their opinion.
It’s actually really simple. The coalition required to reform the government includes the right and republicans. They actually vote. Really we should be looking at the tactics used to convert people from the progressive era.
In this way you avoid counterfactual arguments and actually have a path to follow. As opposed to feeling like you have some magical solution if only you were president.

We need to regulate all forms of media. Brain broken right wing wealth hoarders are beaming their bizarre worldview into the minds of grandma and grandpa.
