If you wouldn’t accept something from your friends or your chosen family, you sure as hell don’t have to accept it from blood relatives. Blood relatives aren’t special. They don’t deserve special treatment. You don’t get to pick your family; you get stuck with them. Not everyone is lucky enough to have decent people in their family.

Women can be misogynists. Many women suffer from internalized misogyny.
