Damnit beat me to it
I first heard this through Moral Orel
That song hits a lot different to me after hearing that the Alpha couple (the fictional subject of their songs about life and love) is likely a lesbian couple. I know it doesn’t necessarily change the story much but it made it hit closer to home for me and helped me to process a lot of the angst I’d felt a few years back related to similar stories in my own life.
