I find it more user friendly than word, e. G.

Call me a Google shill all you want, but I always love being able to edit my documents both online and offline on all of my devices, esp when many of these apps come by default.

I dunno, just feels like it to me. After using only word for years i recently had to use gdocs for a paper draft and it was refreshing.

I use G Suit for work and it’s all garbage. Gmail, sheets, docs, slides all garbage. I fully believe no one at google uses these products themselves or most of the QoL issues would have been resolved.

Unironically. What sucks is how exclusionary it is to people without google, too. Like Microsoft is bad, but google uses literally every product to pull you into their ecosystem. If I want to access a google doc, I have to use a google email address. To use the email, it eventually forces a phone number, then begins putting up more and more strict validation prompts while advertising google authenticator. Meanwhile, you now can access files in a half-assed browser. But what do you know, google drive has a desktop application that is a lot more responsive. So just off of one doc share that could have been emailed, now google has incentivized you to give them access to your email, phone, passwords, and pc, all through sheer enshitification.

No idea what a “DBT Tip” is.

Desalinated Boring Toast Tip? Dehydrated Brown Turtle Tip? Depressed Bloatware Trainer Tip?

we’ve got a million CBT practitioners out here, two DBT folk and exactly zero EMDR specialists it’s kind of funny in a not funny at all kind of way

I tried EMDR and did not get the hype at all. My therapist even had a fancy light bar for it. Ime, most practitioners list CBT but actually end up taking a much more eclectic approach

After dealing with Microsoft Office for a number of years in the shipping industry I do all my personal work in Apple Pages and Numbers. The UX is a trillion times better than the hodgepodge that is Office on macOS (you can’t even move an open document because Microsoft is stuck on Windows 95 and FAT16 I guess).

Same here. I use Microsoft for work. They should just re-do windows from scratch.

I can’t find anything about “Diffrint Skills”. And the logo is a combination of anarchist, trans and vegan?

Oh, my therapy practice is called “diffrint therapy” and that anarchy symbol is part of my logo. I didn’t expect anyone to look into those parts too much lol. I’m playing around with the idea of creating my own therapy worksheets, and shitposting was good motivation to explore the idea
