I approve, to a certain degree (because life ain’t easy for Rei in NGE, to put it mildly, and shit gets pretty weird between her and her husband dad). And, if my name had to be inspired by popular media, I’d also rather be named Rei from an actual show written by adult human beings instead of Rey from nu-SW. 🤷
