Lemmy now has its own echo chambers and control freak mods too though.
But in the Fediverse you always have the option to walk away, join another instance or even host your own.
unlike reddit, they are usually segregated to thier instances, and dont have much effect on other communities if you block them.
If it gets too bad, just move on to the next thing.
