In my country there is a party led by a guy famous mostly for putting out Hannukah candles in parliment using a fire extinguisher. His party is above the electoral threshold (5%) and he got 4th in presidential elections. Other parties think it is a good idea to try to appeal to his voters. There aren’t many Jewish people here so by proxy I’ve never seen antisemitism in person. I’m not well-placed to talk at all.
That said, it’s hard not to wonder whether the term antisemitism isn’t being used abusively…
