Liberals and Democrats are having a hard time right now because they’re becoming aware that the current state of the world is a crisis of their own making. It’s obvious through the thread of failure with has been Democratic leadership, how the authoritarian Blue MAGA/ bnmw brainrot sabotaged our ability to stop Trump.
The world is changing beneath their feat and what was obvious to many of us is becoming obvious to everyone, even if it’s too late for it to matter. And for those who dug their feet into wrong approaches, insisting it was the people to the lefts fault; as the world moves on from them their grip on the narrative slips.
Mostly I just care that finite is safe, isn’t going to self harm, and if they need to project some villainy into me that somehow I stopped Harris from winning by begging her to put a Palestinian on stage, so be it.

When someone is in a mental health situation, you can’t expect them to “step up and start acting rational”. If you want to help someone in crisis, you need to be willing to go meet them where they are at if you want to help them.
