You could argue that there’s far more important things to be doing than changing the Gulf of Mexico back to being the Gulf of Mexico, and you’d be right, but doing it on day 1 (along with everything else - just write one executive order that undoes every EO from the prior admin) sends the (important) message that there was nothing of value done by the prior admin, and the legitimacy of the administration is not even being entertained for a moment.
