Governments will change, people on the top might change. The question is whether they will face any consequences for their actions. Will the US as a whole face any consequence of its actions. Like the consequences other countries face when they do the stuff America is doing right now.

Or will it be back to normal as soon as the regime changes.

Will there be any lasting effects in how the world deals with US?

if Iran had a democracy there would be no war happening right now because the people of Iran CLEARLY wanted another government

Iran didn’t start the war. Our idiot in chief did. Maybe he wouldn’t have attacked a democratic Iran, but maybe he would have.

I have to wonder if the EU was tepid in its response to the invasion of Iran which is run by an evil regime that recently killed up to 30,000 people (including the UK denying the US the opportunity to use its bases to launch attacks), I do have to wonder what sort of response it would have to invading Iran if they were a democracy

A good question. It’s kind of like when crime happens to criminals. Yes, they are entitled to the same protection as everyone else, but there’s a side-eye there.

We all know Iran is governed by assholes. But it’s still wrong for us to invade them like this.
