    I’ve read all of them except City of Dreaming Books in English. Ruma is a very close second for me followed by the Alcamasters Apprentice. I wish I could speak/read German, there are a couple of titles of his that apparently won’t be translated for a reason I can’t remember.

      Yeah he’s playing a lot with words that’s why I was so intrigued because I’ve thought about what a pain it would be to translate or rather how I would translate certain words.

      There are a lot of neologisms in his books so I guess that’s an extra barrier for translations. Probably the books gotta make $$ for the translation to be worth the effort financially.

      The city of dreaming books is good as well but does not hold up to the other two imho.

      Happy to hear that the books that did get translated were apparently well translated :)
