This meme is so old it doesn’t even use modern apt syntax.
Its been:
apt install anarchismsince like 2015, and apt-get is actually deprecated since 2025.
The command in this meme isn’t going to work for much longer, unless we update the syntax.
Apt still isn’t script-safe and I don’t believe apt-get is ever going away. I figured apt was just a Canonical shoehorn that somehow made its way upstream.
