Not that I am in one, but I’m sure there must be a communist party somewhere in the world that is doing fine on a local level. I can’t imagine how those even could become dictatorships with the powers of a mayor alone, surely those count?
The life here is really like the above guy mentioned. Education and healthcare is good here. The communist government has to comply with the general rules of India, So its not a military regime here. The state policies inclines towards the left and the buisness failed to thrive so fewer jobs.

There was one in a province of India doing amazing things, their people were highly educated but had to get good jobs elsewhere.
