Validity of numbers aside, I don’t really want to dig into the statistics, AC eats a lot of energy, and most of the energy in US is dirty. So by allegedly not slaughtering people in the US, US massacring people outside of the US by propagating climate change and creating the conditions for this hell in the first place.
There isn’t even AC in schools. Children are let there to boil practically.
Hilariously enough we have legislation that says that schools shouldn’t be above 27°C but there isn’t any real solutions to avoid that, unless they would put a tax on the sun for overheating the classrooms or whatever.
Europeans don’t get roasted nearly enough for slaughtering 50k people per year due to inadequate cooling. Compare that to 1200 in the USA.
It’s like a meat grinder over there, and yet they endlessly harp on problems in other places that kill fewer people.
