after all the snap package nonsense ubuntu is basically just ‘debian but worse and less stable’ Definitely check out debian. Imo the golden years of ubuntu are well done and buried at this point. Tho, i will never forget installing the first beta of the unity desktop on my school laptop way back when, this is all said with a deep love for the project, just cant imagine daily driving it actually having any advantages to other distros atm
