Where does it say in the phrase “anything and everything goes” or in the 6 rules that this community doesn’t allow politics?
If you’re so unhappy with politics being posted here, as you seem to be by the regular complaints, then set up your own shitposting community without politics allowed.
I personally tire of the politics too, but there isn’t a “no politics” rule in lemmyshitpost, so it’s fair game. People have brought it up before, but it seems like the wider community prefers the less restrictive posting rules.
