I always thought there was a little French guy that lived inside the compartment, and when you turn it on, it electrocuted him which caused his little tiny balls to boil inside and he screamed super loud but he was small enough that we couldn’t hear it, and the supersonic screaming agitated the food into being hot on an atomic level.
