You can keep saying it doesn’t work all you want, but NYC is starting to fly. Clean the doom out of your eyes and join us in the real world.

What? That’s not how it works. I’m not 14. You want me to call you if I start jerking it to my dad’s old Playboys too? How about if I suddenly get awkward around girls again?

The way political maturation works is you start off naively trusting in institutions. Then, around your teen years, you realize that the institutions are untrustworthy, and you become disillusioned. Then, when you grow up, you realize everything is made up anyway, and all that really matters is people and what they do together.

Call me back when you grow up, and the empowerment hits. You’re useless to us with this doomer disillusionment nonsense.

Didn’t call you immature. Just delusional. Never claimed that you will manage to get over those illusions for certain. But if you ever do, let us know.

              Disillusionment is immature

Lol “If you don’t believe the status quo is the best system, you’re immature”. Terminal case of turbolib-brainrot.

Further proof that you did not read what I wrote. It was very short, I don’t know why you’re having such difficulty.

The way political maturation works is you start off naively trusting in institutions. Then, around your teen years, you realize that the institutions are untrustworthy, and you become disillusioned. Then, when you grow up, you realize everything is made up anyway, and all that really matters is people and what they do together.

You’re stuck in the second stage. The second stage is an important development from the first, but it is adolescent. You have to grow up. Realize that every system is made up. Your disillusionment is just another part of the status quo, you are the unwitting controlled opposition helping the system. Stop playing by the rules of the status quo.

What absolute nonsense. Yes, every system is made up, and you’re supporting this current rotten one.

Stop playing by the rules of the status quo.

I’m not the one doing the expected thing which reinforces the current system my peep.

Where did you get such a ridiculous notion? You should reread what I’ve said, because I never did such a silly thing. Yes the system is made up, but it still exists, and it still has power. You can use that power on your own terms like a smart person, or throw that power away like a stupid person.

I’m not the one doing the expected thing which reinforces the current system my peep.

Of course you are. I used to think the same thing when I was a teenager too. Your righteous doomer rebellion is unwitting controlled opposition. The fascists love that you think voting is a waste of time, and they love that you’re encouraging others to feel the same way. Stop making the fascists happy.
