I’ve tried explaining this to my wife but she doesn’t get it, because when she is alone she is lonely. When I’m alone I’m fine, I enjoy the moment or free time or however it unfolds.
She used to try to preset get together time with friends for me if she was out of town. Lol. Imma be fine. Movies, books, poetry, artwork, call a friend from 20 years ago, sleep,take hikes, sit on porch with cofeee watching leaves blow in the wind…etc
Lol. I don’t call people often. But when I have free time I sometimes think I should reconnect, however that is rare because I end up doing other things than phone calls.
Just saw my bestman from my wedding after not seeing him in 30 years. I should try harder to connect with others 😀
