No that’s just another thing to dust on the shelf. I dont want another dust collector for the rest of my life.
It’s been ages since Ive been given flowers, probably 14 years if I think on it. Yes, they die, but they can go in the compost and become useful again, unlike, goddamn dust collectors, and this thing seems to have lots of crevices…

The Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery has a ton of excellent detail on this piece; it’s quite interesting.
You fill it via the small reservoir at the top, it drains through the handle and fills the main reservoir at the bottom. You then
drinkpour through the spout. There’s no real prank aspect on this one (no hidden hole to plug with your finger, for example) but it’s been heavily restored so perhaps it was originally more puzzling.
I had something like this as a kid, but it was a camel where you could fill it up through tye hump and pour it out of the mouth. I didn’t really understand it, so i always filled it up with syrup and then water and it would “magically” separate it. I fully believed that this is what it’s for… Until now. I wonder if that vamel is still around somewhere, this post gave me a massive nostalgia boost.
