Edible thc is actually metabolized into a different kind of cannabinoid so instead of regular thc , you end up with 11-delta-9 thc, also called THC-COOH I think this particular form of thc is a stronger activaitor of your CB1 (cannabinoid) and CB2 receptors. This resulted in a more prolonged an intense effect all thanks to your liver.
I’ve had hallucinatory effects with space cake, but nothing more than dizziness with smoking it. Even in small doses the effects of edibles hit different it’s not just a light high. Thanks for sharing the science.
THC affects you much differently when it’s metabolized by the liver first, instead of going directly into the blood stream.
