Total users are huge now.

There are many websites out there that pull data from the fediverse. So take that with a grain of salt. But anecdotally I am seeing a small rise in people using the various platforms as each get more mature and servers somewhat stabilize.

    You can’t just count Lemmy active users. I switched from Lemmy to Piefed for example. So we need to count Lemmy+Piefed.

      That’s why I mentioned both. Though I also personally have accounts on both so… I definitely am keenly aware that these are not counts of actual human people, but rather user accounts.
