Before grabbing my rifle, I’d appreciate it if people would at least try voting first.
Vote Democrat in the general election for harm reduction, and vote in the Democratic primaries to move the party left.
Gas prices are at record highs. Whatever your thoughts are on cars or how gas may still be too cheap considering the damage it causes or whatever, the reality is that high gas prices have historically been really bad for incumbent parties in mid-terms. With that and the historic disapproval rating of Trump, there hasn’t been an election more primed for a flip than this one in our lifetimes.
It’s why they’re working so fucking hard to supress votes. They know they’re in real trouble.
I’ve been voting in every major election since 2016, and I don’t regret doing it but I do feel myself becoming more and more disillusioned each time about whether the sort of democratic machinery we’ve built is even capable of producing the sort of radical change the American empire desperately needs. I really can’t blame people who’ve concluded that voting isn’t going to work.

Simply be honest: there is nothing on Earth that would compel you to pick up your rifle just so long as it wasn’t happening to you.
