…but really though, just do what cops do and tuck a dried leaf in the plate holder to partially obscure it with plausible deniability.
and hope that someone else in the state has the exact same car model/color with plates that match the part of the plate that your leaf didn’t obscure.
Police can get away with it because almost all police cars are identical.
