Every little mmo guild had their own community forums.
Now everything is freaking discord… I like discord to a point.
For guild stuff I would still prefer forums the good old phpBB - I made so many different skins for it, then the e107 sites…
I haven’t thought about elthem for almot 20 yrs… Still have some backups somewhere.
There’s a pretty great discord server for my profession. I would love it so much more on a message board. Searching something then wading through other people talking in the middle of trying to read troubleshooting information sucks!

Sounds like an actual good use for AI summaries, if the AI can get the stuff you need separated from the irrelevant conversation.
