Results of surveys can easily be faked. Just ask 1200 people with suggestive questions then remove 200 answers you didn‘t like and say you asked 1000 people. :)
if you’re willing to lie why even bother with that, just make up the results wholesale. Polling companies don’t because their entire business relies on their reputation.
