Conan I don’t even think has a goal anymore. Like it started with wanting to reverse the poison, but how often is that even addressed these days? It’s just a fun way to tell crime stories now.
If I remember correctly the author even stated that they had no intent on ever finishing the story and wants to keep it alive/going for as long as possible.
At least One Piece looks close to finishing. I’m also waiting on Case Closed and I can see that one going for another 10 years…
I thought they announced that it was ending soon-ish (current geologic age at least(.
They announced a reduction to 26 episodes a year.
