I mean… maybe in super shitty models? IIRC, it mostly just nukes itself at 100% power, which seldom crests 800F in the actual oven part, which won’t even necessarily see an iron rack glowing red, let alone any respectable alloy or ceramic coating.

Should be able to get a similar effect in most ovens by putting ot on max broil, though of course that requires having a broil setting.
Also you should of course have it clean already, or you’ll just be smoking your pizza out with grease smoke.
