Recently had a meeting where the organizer was summing up that we were done when someone brought in an off-topic thing that got people joking around about nothing. At the first lull, I said, “Ok, so I guess if that’s it, everyone have a good weekend.” That worked and everyone started signing off. I hate that I have to jump in to make things end, but at least it worked.
