    Your bills are the same size? Is that not an accessibility nightmare? In Australia the sizes change with higher-value notes being wider than lower-value ones, helping vision-impaired people identify the right note. (In addition to the vibrant very different colours and tactile bumps.)

      Yes, it legitimately is an accessibility nightmare.

      There is a blind man I used to follow on YT. He is American and is pretty self sufficient. But since there are literally zero distinguishing features on our paper currency for blind people, he manages to know which bills he has by hoping others are telling him the correct bill in good faith and then organizing the bills in a particular order in his wallet.

      Interesting. Indeed, our legit bills here in the USA are all the same size. I’ve actually seen that they do have a device that banks can use to stamp in Braille dots on the bills for blind people, but I’ve never seen a Braille stamped bill out in the wild. 🤷
