Their propaganda has actually generally sucked pretty bad this war. They had the opportunity to make the US and Israel (and particularly Trump and Bebe) into a global pariah. They could have started showing videos of schools and other graphic terrible images of people the US has murdered and things they have destroyed. They could have turned the whole world against the US and Israel, just like Biden and Zelinski were able to turn the would world against Russia.

But instead they dug in, started bombing everyone else around them, and made everyone remember why they are hated in the first place.

When did progressives get all “Got mine first!”

I mean the selfish carelessness of progressives today is really astonishing.

If your job sucks so bad because you have to make the most minor accommodations for your co-workers families, then just quit your job. Like, you have no responsibilities and nothing holding you back. What’s your problem?

Is anyone surprised? I mean, did you guys think it was really a $300 million dollar ballroom?

Did you know that parents also would like to go to the dentist?

First of all, no they don’t. There is a very small minority of MAGAs that are real preppers. (I actually have some respect for those people.)

The rest are just soulless suburban pawns that hide their racism in faux-Christianity or faux-libertarianism. The cat majority of them are up to their eyes in debt.

Those people aren’t the people that need to be reminded.

Who reads their money?

The biggest difference is that the state is still controlled by the federal government. If it wasn’t subservient to the US Federal government then a lot of things about it would have to change.

It would be a completely different place. I imagine it would closely resemble a Christian version of Turkey in a lot of ways.

It’s just one dude and that’s not going anywhere. It would require agreement of not only New Mexico (which is a non starter) and the federal government, which is equally not going to happen.

If Texas became it’s own nation, it would probably become a cross between Russia and Switzerland. It would quickly develop a highly centralized oligarchy, basically operating off of oil and gas exports, while still having good relationships with it’s larger neighbors and have beneficial tax policies.

It would become a great safe place for super rich people to hide money while it’s actual population declines economically.

They look at you like that because they know, right now, you are young and feel invincible. And you practically are.

But they know that you won’t be forever. And they know that you are missing an opportunity to prepare for the second half of your life because you are living to the fullest now.

And they know that it’s your choice to make.
