If someone is board game shy, I like to pull out Century. It’s a fun game that’s pretty short and has plenty of strategy, but best of all the rules are a single page. Quick explanation of the goal, the resources, and what you can do each turn and we’re off to the races. If they’re ever confused I just hand them the page and they don’t have to hunt for anything, all the info is right there. Perfect board game for beginners or when you just don’t feel like a 3 hour scythe campaign.

2·2 个月前it’s a blessing and a curse. Achievement hunting can be really fun, but oftentimes they’re not well implemented and it ends up sucking. Unfortunately, my completionist impulse is way too strong, so I must slog through it either way.
