All good, I think I phrased my comment in a confusing way :) It is true that the humanities have a higher percentage than other fields. I just wanted to add that many female linguists that I know are also dialed into the manosphere/incel/4chan speak even though they are the target of this dehumanising language, kind of in a morbidly curious way lol. Many of my acquaintances are also organising politically, which probably adds to this. As for the results, I sadly haven’t met her in a while, I’m sorry. Ohh and I added the cis-male part to clarify that the information is just second hand.

As a cis-male linguistics student I can confidently say that this is not the case. An ostensibly female, blue-haired, feminist friend wrote her bachelor thesis about classifying reddit users in r/asmongold by language and the correlating amount of engagement in discourse in said community to see if she can form groups by classifying them by language and find out if she can form a relation between those groups and the topics (gaming, “politics”, misogyny, racism, etc.) they talk about.

The sugar reserves in your liver are like a last resort of your body when it can’t burn any carbohydrates in the cells. As a type 1 diabetic I can tell you that you shouldn’t fuck with that at all. Messing up your hormones (like insulin) is a really bad idea. Apart from that we obviously consume too much sugar. When your liver dumps all the sugar it saved up it also dumps a heap of the shit it is supposed to filter out. When you get hypoglycemic and your liver takes over, you gonna have a really bad time. When your body burns fat it produces Ketone, which is similar to acetone (or nail polish). In small concentration that’s not a concern, but in higher concentration, like when you don’t consume any carbohydrates, it fucks you up big time. Ketone is the reason why diabetics get blind, lose their legs and develop nerve damage.

This is sadly a very common misconception, mostly due to the Nazi propaganda itself. The pre-war designs where mostly retrofitted civilian machines, the best example are the first planes they build. This was due to the restrictions to rearmament. After the war begun, the meth upped shitheads mostly threw material against every problem they faced (more money = less problems = more good). So there is a type of spray used on boats to get rid of spiders. As you can imagine, having an in closed space near the water is prime real estate for spiders.
