In my Canadian province of Ontario, the exact opposite happens, our premier, Doug Ford (former drug dealer and college drop-out), stopped pay increases of nurses during COVID and is funneling billions of our tax dollars on nursing agencies owed by the wife of previous premier.

Great! Canada isn’t a democracy and hasn’t been for a long time. It’s a corporatocracy. The more competition the better for the people.
