It would be perfectly fine. Tears are isotonic. They’re the exact salinity of the human body. It’s the same reason why if you’re in the hospital they give you saline solution for hydration instead of plain water. That saline bag is the same salinity as tears. And your blood. And the rest of the liquid in your body.

5·4 days agoSame. It builds ansible playbooks for me pretty reliably. And saved me a fuck ton of time on the contract I’m on now converting our entire chef baseline into ansible.
Easily done, but doing it all by hand would have been a pain. Did it in a couple of days for the first draft, then manually tweaked it for the weird shit Claude hallucinated.

Except I’m correct. A government implementing protectionist policies to control economic sectors is not capitalist.

337·6 days agoNo this was capitalism in action. Capitalism bred the innovation in TRON.
Governments getting involved and putting their thumb on the scales to control the economy is the opposite of capitalism.

That’s a bullshit myth from Democrats because they couldn’t believe they lost to Trump.
Roughly 12% of Bernie primary voters voted for Trump in the general.
That’s right in line with the amount of Clinton primary voters in 08 that voted McCain.
And it’s a good bit fewer than the 14% of people that voted for Obama in 2012 that voted Trump in 2016.

Political Memes@lemmy.world•Strait of Hormuz Birthright CitizenshipEnglish
101·7 days agoBeing a territory doesn’t give birthright citizenship though…
So even if the US were able to just claim it as a territory, that wouldn’t mean anything for citizenship. The Constitution only applies to incorporated territories. The only incorporated US territory is the uninhabited Palmyra Atoll. PR, The US Virgin Islands, Guam, etc are all unincorporated territories. The Constitution doesn’t apply to them.
The US territories that do have citizenship at birth are done so under federal law passed by Congress, not the 14th amendment. For example, people born in American Samoa are NOT US citizens. They are non-citizen US nationals. People born in PR, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands are citizens due to federal statutes passed.
Red, White, and Pink Slip Blues pretty much already addresses that.

Coffee grounds are readily compostable. And are one of the best things to compost. They bring a ton of nutrients.
A reusable metal mesh filter and then composting the grounds into plant food for a small garden is about as zero waste as you can get.
If we’re talking about grocery stores, fast food, and gas stations that absolutely still works lmao.
Pretty much all the minimum wage places still have walk in job applications. Often times they’ll just interview you on the spot.
Well it’s gay because OP has touched dick more than he’ll ever touch a woman.
Idk about fake though. It tracks pretty much with what I’ve known the average 4channer to be like.

MM-DD continues on with ISO 8601 in the same format.
No they’re not. They pasteurized processed cheese product.
American cheese is actual cheese. Kraft has a real American cheese. It’s the deli deluxe stuff.
Real. Just kinda misleading.
George Bush was still president for 19 days in 2009. Donald Trump was still president for 19 days in 2021.
At some point in all of those years you could in fact say that the president was born in 1946.

Yeah that’s a big failing on the teachers, not explaining why you can’t cite Wikipedia. It’s not hard to explain “you can’t cite wikipedia directly because it isn’t a source. It’s just a collection of references, and you need to go cite the primary source, and here is where wikipedia lists their sources for each claim and how you can cite them”.

Crazy, democrats think a democrat would handle the economy better, and republicans think a republican would handle the economy better.
I would have never guessed that.
