There should not be a quota for arrests. You’re supposed to arrest people who are breaking the law. If not many people are breaking the law, great, leave the well-behaved people alone!

Me personally, I’m very literal minded. When I say getting rid of pennies is good, I mean just that: getting rid of pennies is good. I certainly DO NOT think that tiny little good thing is equal to all the horrible crap Trump has done. I don’t think it makes any of the suffering worth it. I’d go back to using pennies if it meant all the horrible things from the Trump administration went away

I am doing something: I’m avoiding buying American products. While it is true that Trump doesn’t care about me, that’s irrelevant to the statement that he doesn’t care about Americans

But he even half-assed that. He stopped the production of new pennies but they’re still in use and not being destroyed and different stores are using different policies about rounding. In Canada, we made a law that, starting on a certain date, prices were rounded to the nearest five for cash transactions. Pennies were still accepted currency but gradually sent back to the mint to be destroyed and, after a while, they stopped being used at all.
