This is an insult to twelve year olds. Seriously. I was never as stupid as this guy at 12. I would have STARTED with how to deal with the people displaced, not omitted it entirely.
It’s insane this is happening. If they provided this in the first place with the emergency funds, they could have convinced 42 million people on SNAP they were heroes.
Instead, they are fighting the legal requirement to do this… And now they’ve roped in the Supreme Court, once again underlining how broken that system is, in addition to the presidency.
The democrats have a clear path forward here. They just need to run a good candidate like AOC, instead of Biden 2.0 (Newsom), and they can dominate in the next election.
