Alex Jones went on his show the day Charlie Kirk died and within 20 minutes of the shots started exploiting the whole story for his own gains, letting the video of the shot hitting Kirk play on loop, in slowmo, “zoom in on that” while plugging his products and rambling about the left. He is a disgusting piece of shit grifter that doesn’t stop exploiting people’s misery, even if it’s one of his own. Kirk wasn’t even pronounced dead before Jones started building a narrative around it. If I were someone from Kirks family or company I would sue the living shit out of Jones for this, it is vile and disgusting even his co-host was a little taken aback by it.

I however disagree with the notion that Nazis wouldn’t be Nazis if opposition “took the high road” and debated the Nazis instead of responding to their violence in kind. The Nazis are gonna do Nazi shit regardless, and their justifications will always be bullshit.

Again, I don’t see how you get there? I did not say anything like that? I did not say to take the high road, I did not say that the fascists would leave you alone? I said that fascists disproportionately will escalate violence in reaction, I did not qualify that one way or the other.

Well, I this specific case they actually didn’t… Martial law was declared from May 27th 1942 (the day of the assassination) until July 3rd 1942. So 37 days after the assassination the martial law over Czech was lifted again so there is a pretty clear connection as retribution to the assassination.

Careful what you wish for. When Reinhard Heydrich was killed in an attack by Czech resistance fighters the Nazis imposed martial law over the whole country for two months, arrested 3000 people, executed 1300. Additionally they burnt two villages to the ground, executed the entire male population, all women went to concentration camps and all but 9 children in those villages where murdered.

Don’t get me wrong, I relish in the thought that Heydrich died like a dog and I’d say it was the right thing to do, just as I will absolutely not shed a tear for that shit stain Kirk, but the price can be very very high and those lunatics will retribute, cruel and senseless.
