If you don’t, they will force you to sacrifice anyway, and all your rights and freedoms will be gone, forever, along with those of all future generations, and all citizens of all countries your government attacked with your tax money, and the might of powerful corporations like meta, and twitter, and google, and amazon, which you allowed to have power, because quitting them was too inconvenient for you, and you believed your actions alone are insignificant. They aren’t.

If Trump could press a button that would kill 10 million people, maim another 5 million, and make 50 million people go from middle class to abject poverty, in order to give him 10 billion $ and more power, he’d press that button without hesitation.
