19 hours agoJust as bad in the UK. Corbyn can’t get elected, Starmer can. Everyone hates Starmer because he isn’t Corbyn. Not appreciating the fact he isn’t Johnson/May/Lettuce.

Quite possibly oversimplifying things. I think a major factor was the media being against him and having no firm Brexit policy. Either way, like with Blair, you need the media on your side.
