  • You have no cause to accuse me of not seeing things like they are first of all.

Second of all you just refuted my own point while agreeing with me. You could have just added to my point, but you refused it and then expounded on the same subject.

The inflation rate is a real tangible thing people can understand, that shows how full of shit the system has been for our entire lives.

  • The minimum wage applied to everybody outside of agricultural work. So the minorities that did not share in an exalted social status, still had enough money to live a dignified life.

I specifically addressed that so I would not have somebody discounting the lessons from the post-war era because not everything was perfect. It’s not perfect now either by the way, so you can discount everything from today or any period in time with that logic.

We are being robbed and you are addressing some abstract concept, and not the means by which we have been robbed. Inflation is a real measured thing we could reset our wages and raises on. I think you are wrong headed on all of your points here.

Capital being valued over labor is not mutually exclusive with addressing us being robbed by dishonest numbers.

  • What we have now is capitalism, but it is other things as well. Some say late stage capitalism. It is a plutocracy. It is becoming even more of a kakistocracy, rule of the worst. It was borderline fascist and now becoming moreso.

We had capitalism in the 1950s through the 1970s, and we had a pretty prosperous society, for whatever faults the system had, anybody with a job could live a decent life, which is the overriding concern of everybody, not living in destitute poverty.

They have changed the way inflation is measured a number of times to understate it, and now we are compound fucked by 50 years.

Social Security checks would have been worth $1,200 more on average a month just in 2008 under the unchanged standard. We are getting robbed everyday by inflation and we believe the ivy league suits on TV that tell us our wages have never had more buying power.

  • We were saying this elsewhere, and someone posted a link claiming the real cause was like a week before Harrambe, a rat I think it was crawled into the Hadrian collider I think while on, in switzerland I think they are accelerating particles to study Physics bullshit, higgs boson something.

There was a theoretical possibility they could have started a chain reaction that would destroy the world they were saying when they were talking about building it fyi.

Anyway though this rat got in there when it was on and they are saying that through the timeline off, a week before harambe.

  • The flu is one thing, all of the toxins we are exposed to from companies trying to save a buck is everywhere as well. This is like some 1984 shit we are heading right now. More dangerous chemicals than ever being allowed into our water, our air, and our food. The flu and the covids are just icing on the cake. And I think I have noticed people getting Dumber from the 90s. Not starting in 2020 starting before that.

  • I previously quit for a decade almost completely, drinking like you a couple here and there, by restarting running distance, also using kratom to help get started until the endorphins take over.

Physical exertion and alcohol do not go well together, I wanted to go running not drink.

I restarted drinking homebrew by choice just last year. Working on maple wines and other herb infused drinks, with syrup I make, until I start malting barley and growing hops to make ipa. But I do not get falling down drunk and am happy regardless but I choose to get buzzed lately if at home, I may mostly transition to traditional herbals soon though.

  • Is this a known medical condition, alcohol intolerance?

I know enzymes in the body break down and remove it, and certain people genetically have more or less depending.

Cultures that have been drinking for thousands of years have more of the enzymes, those that just started have way less like the natives in america and I think australia but idk on that. Basically the entire old world has more of the alcohol metabolizing enzymes from eurasia to africa. Not sure of inuits and far northern tribes but if they milked animals in prehistory they probably fermented milk for kefir.

Also women metabolize alcohol less than men due to these enzymes.

So the same amount of alcohol can have wildly more or less pronounced inebriation even before taking tolerance into account.
