You’re right, I do feel smarter
Biden’s fault
But he has Nobel Peace prize

Most likely they will turn the 1.5% into cost so that corporate can still reap the extra revenue without giving the division any revenue credit. So not just screwing the customer but also their own internal business and employees that get bonuses from sales.

…wait out the president before making any long term decisions…

My employer just raised the price of everything thing it sales by 1.5% regardless of it was affected by tariffs or not, I mean everything. They basically said “f it spread it out to everyone” and moved on.
They aren’t going to move a multi billion dollar factory for a temporary president on his second term. They plan to sit and wait.
AI why is my indoor plant growing towards the window? Doesn’t it love me?
Real AI ad.
I outwardly goaned. I hate Mustard 6:7, like what even does that mean?
We don’t get sandwich 6:9 enough, but it has so many layers
You motherboard will come with AI and will have to be connected to the Internet like game consoles so they can mine your data and push ads to you!
Laughs in evil corporate AI!

It’s AI rot. Simply put, it’s a lot like any software tool, if AI is doing the work and is doing the thinking then you are conforming to the tool instead of using the tool.
I deal with it a lot, even now when AI is just starting to poke it’s nose into our toolset. The person uses the tool without thinking but at the end of the day they don’t have a clue why they did any of it. So now our tools are being redesigned with that in mind so that the operator doesn’t have to think and can intentionally operate on autopilot. It’s the difference between an operator and an engineer, but it’s hard for most people to see the difference, they see it as gained efficiency or getting the operator to produce the same level of work. I foresee AI replacing the operators and the experts being lost due to attrition, then the experts that put the work in will become super valuable and scarce.
In my opinion their Chalupa or Gordita are the best things on the menu. PSA - they don’t resemble true Mexican food of the same name at all.
But I never feel good about going to Taco Bell afterwards. I only sometimes stop there if I’m traveling and my choice is limited to McDonald’s or Taco Bell
WTF! Did you sneak into my house?
I guess I can either wait and see or put the laptop in the microwave
I just pulled a 20yo laptop out of storage and put Linux Mint on it because I was bored. Wifi and USB ports are slow as molasses in winter, but works fine otherwise.

How well do those work? Is it seamless or do I need to spend hours fiddling with it to get a program to work?

If we can convince the ignorant masses to stop buying based on consumerism and purchase based on well informed decisions instead then we would see a shift in enshittification or at least have alternatives. But that’s very unlikely since it’s easier to conform and fall in line and accept your fate.
