10 hours agoI’m with you on this. We can’t just causally brush aside a machine that can create the frame of a house unattended - just because it can’t also do wiring. It was a bad choice of image to use to attack AI. In fact it’s a perfect metaphor for what AI is actually good for: automating certain parts of the work. Yes you still need an electrician to come in, just like you also need a software engineer to wire up the UI code their LLM generated to the back end, etc.
Well, a minute ago you were saying that AI worship is akin to saying
