      That would probably be the best strategy, gerrymander the fuck out of a bunch of blue states, and have SCOTUS declare gerrymandering illegal

        They’ll find a way to make it only apply when it’s against Republican interests.

      On what grounds?

      According to the Constitution, maps will be drawn by the states. There is no national law against gerrymandering. The voting rights act only ensures that there are opportunity districts for minorities.

      The only laws these maps violate are state laws and that will be alleviated by putting the action to a vote.
