It’s only a matter of time until someone on the left does actually do something like this though. They will disingenuously seize on that opportunity to further their agenda as they always do. The kid who punches his bully gets suspended while the bully laughs and continues to terrorize others.

That being said, we already know that being in agreement with reality is not a requirement for Republicans to believe something. Facts don’t matter to them so don’t bother making factual appeals to them. Their goal is control and they will use any and all means at their disposal to achieve it, regardless of truth. Fight their control, not their arguments.
