    It absolutely astonds me that people still believe polls when it comes to this shitbag.

    If it were a presidential election I’m 99% sure he’d sweep again. Since it’s the midterms and history is what it is, it remains to be seen what will happen, but I’ve stopped believing political polls were anywhere even remotely close to reality since 2016.

      You mean when the polls kept saying the findings were within the margin of error and Clinton did get the majority of votes? Those polls were incredibly close to reality. It was people’s interpretation of the numbers that were off.

      There’s strong reason to believe that the polls represented how people actually voted. If the outcome was different, that was due to fuckery.

        I would love to believe that’s not true, but it was very suspicious how Republicans have been overperforming polls mostly in states where they control the election machinery.
