When AI models are used in a school setting, kids become dumber and meaner after using this technology, according to a new study.

Small price to pay for worse search results.

      True.
While its more convenient, I feel like searching the answer on a search engine is faster and more reliable(provided that the sites are not using ai for writing or the engine does not force AI down your throat)

Undermining intelligence is the point. Look at any red or blue state. Zoom into the counties. See those big blue blobs in red states? College towns. See those swaths of red in blue states? Rural areas. The best way to make the US redder is to attack education. Gerrymandering is another possibility, but it’s controversial. They can sell AI to both sides better.

    It’s totally a coup.

They’re probably not doing it in the private schools their children attend, though. Their kids will be just fine.

Are the kids going to be alright? Genuine question. I worry about the next generation.

Why would anybody upvote a few “interviews” from the completely discredited Brookings Institute?

Don’t let your hatred of “AI” become an excuse for promoting pseudo-science.
