Hey i want to be an optimist! and i must admit i am not really very savvy at all the current workings of the governments in the European union, but yeah you got a point, in that a lot of them are looking like a bunch of corpos in a trench coat.
Earlier today, I stopped myself from joking that Ford had a 100% ownership of the US government, and GM had the other 100% ownership of the US government, and Fiat-Chrysler had yet another 100% ownership of the US government…but prove me wrong. Prove me wrong about Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, and maybe even Netflix. Prove me wrong that BMW/Volkswagen/Mercedes doesn’t own Germany, or that Honda, Toyota and Mitsubishi don’t each wholly own Japan. I think Samsung genuinely does own South Korea, with no sarcasm or smarm, I think the East coast of Asia goes Russia, China, The People’s Republic of Korea, Samsungistan.
I completely agree, i don’t need to prove you wrong. The worse part is this process of shaping corporations into feudal lordships will end up turning the violence of the state inwards first, to manufacture the subjectivity of a modern serf, and then they will start to build violent crusades against each other. Again AI is a perfect tool for manufacture of subjectivity-> to Ideology -> to consent. It is also a complementary tool to automate the violence of the Feudal houses. What I’m not sure if it’s that sustainable. We are already seeing the oldest feudal lords crumbling under their weight: Samsung for example and Korea. The USA is showing signs of accelerating towards a clash of inner contradictions. In the way it needs to wield it’s imperial power to function and how it’s overplaying it’s hand on it’s own people. Again call me an optimist, but i really don’t think AI will reach AGI or become a super mechanism of control. I feel it’s turning out more to be a wrench thrown into the system and it’s outcome could either empower the late stage capitalists or obliterate the current cadre.
As for who owns me; Work wise, probably China! Because i work in renewable energies and they are the only ones heavily investing in that!
There are Western governments? I thought there were corporations and sycophants. Was that you knocking? I didn’t know we still had a door.
