This is Amazing news; and my hope is that more platforms emerge where we can enjoy human made content without all the useless AI generated noise. Just this last week i learned about purely human a platform for artists that outright bans ai generated images. The project is just starting but the impulse is promising: Having platforms that reject the push from big tech for shoving AI forcefully down out throats.

I feel the biggest challenge will be in making these platforms open for everyone, not just walled gardens for creatives but places for fans and people learning, enthusiasts and people just wanting to form communties. if AI is cold and alienating these platforms need to embrace the warmth of human contact.

Also generative AI needs to be marked as poison for human discourse. Serious sites that give voice to journalism and education need to ban and shun AI content as much as possible for it’s negative effects. Which sounds like a challenge because it might be nearly impossible to tell AI text in social media.
