This is what people don’t get. The “just comply” crowd are steeped in privilege and have no critical thinking skills whatsoever. No matter what you give them they’ll say it’s fake or doctored. If you pissed them off they will lock you up for a few hours regardless of citizenship
A part of me finds some satisfaction knowing that as things get worse there will be at least one terminally online MAGA idiot that goes to show support for ICE and gets fucking black bagged regardless just because they were at some protest.
It would require them actually leaving their house. But, it’s bound to happen at some point.
It hasn’t been real as long as it’s only been an unprotected persons class.
Plus the economy is designed to shit people into the prison system to make coke money for land owners getting dividends for however many bodies they can stuff in cinderblock closets.
Hard to talk about though. Most casual social gatherings don’t care for it, plus specific social gatherings lack de jure civil protections and are open to harassment like gang stalking if their outreach or membership are noticed by professional and lifestyle haters. So, activists take a lot of risks, just like everywhere else. (if only i could pass out journalist tech fast enough)
Did you know it’s a fireable offence to talk about communism in the u.s.? (so no job, no civil social net access) In the same document that’s has discrimination protections. (i can get it, but eepy. i saved a pdf in case it gets taken down like a lot of stuff has this year.)
Too bad it doesn’t list white nationalism or profiteerism instead.
I wonder if it would be a different world by how much. Redlining went so far.
